i want a pet dragon!

i saw "How To Train Your Pet Dragon" with melissa today... such a good movie! it was my first time seeing an IMAX 3D movie too... i know, welcome to the year 2000... i've been ushered into it with my first laptop (sorry, i'm a PC) and an IMAX film... yay

and after seeing Toothless and his adorable puppy-like ways, i officially want a pet dragon...

...how can you say no to this face?

Year One

lissa and i saw this yesterday... i'm not a movie critic, but it was pretty funny. she got to satisfy her Michael Cera craving... and i settled my popcorn craving.

something super special about me: i like to eat day old theatre popcorn. charming, aren't i? ;)

quality moment in the movie: "hey guys, wait here... i'm coming back to cut your penis! well, not the whole thing... just the tip"

ha ha ha

Wolverine

the movie was alright i guess... i thought the ending blew, but you have to go see it and make your own opinions.

but i did love all the sexy mens in the movie!!!!

Hugh Jackman aka Wolverine

i've forgiven him for his questionably homoerotic last name. ladies (and gents?), you will too when you see him shirtless. kinda hairy, but i guess that comes with the territory

Daniel Henney aka Agent Zero

this guy is a gun expert in the movie. i am trying really hard not to make a comment/joke about HIS "guns". har har har. anyways. i digress. extremely hot!

Taylor Kitsch aka Remy LeBeau/Gambit (aka my favorite)

ok, i'm sure we're all familiar with Gambit... throwing cards, blah blah... but Taylor just happens to be my age, Canadian and... well... call me!!!!!!

sorry about the lack of a "real" movie review. i'm umm... here for the finer points ;)

Grindin'!

ok, that was a cheesy start to this haha...
anyways, i went with a chunk of the Offshoot crew (hi Big C, Safari, Data & Lupe!) to see The Clipse at Livestock for their Play Cloths debut at Livestock. bumped into Annalie, one of my fellow Timebomb gang members... love her! she brought some eS/Hundreds shoes for the guys (where are mine? jk... but if you wanna get me free stuff, i mean... i'm not gonna say no... ;)

even tho it was freeeezing the turnout was good and the clothing was darn near sold out when we got there! (see 3 pieces left in the pics below!). we hung out for a few, the Clipse dudes were really cool and Malice drew a mullet on his bros picture... c'mon, anyone with some good mullet humour is good in my books.
went to their show with the P (redbullredbullredbull!) after at Circa... that was umm... interesting. good preformance, but the crowd was a little sketchy. anyways, we snuck into the VIP (yeah, we jumped down into it like losers) and hung for a few. got lost looking for coat check... and then left.
thats it!
PS i lied... thats not it. we saw the Biggie movie. i'd give it a 7.5. the guy who played 2 Pac was horrible (check for his THUG LIFE hat)... and my fav part was when Faith (or "Faye") owned that ho in the hotel room... you go girl hahaha!

To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar

does anyone remember this movie?! well, my saturday morning (and early afternoon... what? it's the weekend!) consisted of me watching it in bed. i believe i watched it in the theatre when it first came out in '95. YES, i paid money to see this thing. and no, i was not alone...! i'm known for having NOT seen some of the most popular movies (just name it, i probably haven't seen it) yet i watch crap like this. the only weirder thing would be my Jean Claude Van Damme collection.... i think i own almost ALL his movies. and yes, i'm talking ALL of them... not just Bloodsport and Kickboxer. anyways, i digress...

even tho i found the movie amusing... i wanna know what possessed Patrick Swazye (Vida Boheme), Wesley Snipes (Noxeema Jackson) and John Leguizamo (Chi Chi Rodrigues) to do this flick?!? god! i mean, aren't they legit actors... couldn't they get a better movie? (well, maybe not John Leguizamo... sorry dude. i liked you in "House of Buggin' tho!)

i have to admit, i really like drag queens. maybe i'm secretly jealous that they can do their make up so well (sometimes) and they are so extra and exciting. haha! this might explain the fun times that we've had at El Convento Rico, downtown. (google it if you are comfortable with your manhood ;)
