the bride!

not much explaining to do here. no one wants to hear the blabber... lets look at pictures :)

the bachelorette...

michelle's engagement/wedding has been a year long adventure...

we'll start with the bachelorette party thrown by the most wonderful bridesmaids EVER (ahem, that includes me ;)

everyone met at the bride's house for a little gathering... Halloween themed, of course. there was a wide range of costumes, butterflies, witches, a greek goddess, little red riding hood, FBI agents, a beer wench (my costume... the irony is that i don't even like beer!) and a rag doll (the bride).

the usual party stuff happened while we waited for our surprise "ride"... drinks, snacks, various squeals and jokes... we had a gift session, which lets face it, was really gifts for the groom. i'm pretty sure she'll never have to buy sexy underwear again...

then our pink party bus (stripper pole and karaoke included!) came to pick us up... and i'll let the pictures tell the rest!!!

i'm somewhat of a salesperson and customer service aficionado by day and you always tend to have a few customers/clients that make your job a little better. yesterday one of them made it to the top of my list by bringing me a case of Red Bull.... i know what you are thinking, NO i did not drink it all in one day. i moved it's contents to the office fridge so i can have my midday pick me up... and maybe share with others (... or maybe not.)

the long weekend!

melissa and i went to a dancehall party on thursday appropriately titled "Tight Up Skirt". good times all around...

had an awesome canada day bbq w my friends (missed u jen!) @ michelle's place... did some fireworks & roman candle shenanigans in the park after (more like joey did all the fireworks and we watched... thx joe!). photos courtesy of the awesome fire swinging mr. rennick!











finished off the weekend with the pride parade... but there wasn't enough scandalousness-ess-nesss for me this time around. middle aged people fully dressed, pushing baby carriages and cops in FULL uniform on the parade route doesn't exactly make for much excitement. where were all the speedos and lame shorts? leather? sexy cops? gay firemen? hello? max did you see them?

apparently i missed the boat on Duran Duran tickets on April 25th. how that kind of blasphemy happened, i'll never know... and i will continue to kick myself until i fix this.

got busy... didn't have time to post these last week. i owned the dance floor in my gold shorts, RB & V in the car, tequila in the club... lots of hugs & one good fall. good friends & a great time! i think the pictures explain my birthday pretty well, so less text, more pics!

christmas parties are the best... next up was the Offshoot annual christmas bash. it is never short of food, friends, laughs... and quincy's begging. there were a few new toys for us all to amuse ourselves with this year... including Kinect. this game really should be at every party!

karaoke was around again, via Lips. i don't think that we could have a Christmas WITHOUT it, in my opinion. but my question of the night: why was everyone so excited about singing "The Heart of Rock N Roll" by Huey Lewis??? am i missing something?
