i love the fact that wedges/platforms are back for the summer, because they are comfy and cute at the same time... however i hate the new breed of platform... flatforms





do i even need to justify why??? just look at them! eeewwwwww. if i wanted to have feet that looked this way, i would have asked God to make me an elephant.

i still can't believe that Jeffrey Campbell made the hideous Suebee (below). and even worse? they are sold out all over the place. bad taste is running rampant, i tell you.

i've been on a zebra nail thing for the past few weeks... so i opted to go for something a little bit out of my comfort zone.

i bought MAC's Earthly Harmony a while back but never got the chance to use it. i guess it could be described as a greyish taupe? taupey grey? greyish brown? anyways... i liked the results and it's been on for the past 4 days. it's coming off today, but i thought i would show you before that... you will also notice that Quincy snuck in (he was begging for my pizza) and my new studded booties too! i can only buy so many gifts for others... ;)

if my feet could only be so lucky...

i like converse, but they aren't necessarily my go to shoe... anyways... i caught this upcoming collabo in the new Nylon issue and i must admit, i'm smitten! there are 3 pairs, but i'm only posting the 2 i like. the first pair have my name written all over them! (it's not too late for belated birthday gifts, friends ;)

socks!

since fall has come upon us with a vengence, i realize that the days of wearing sandals and no socks are gone. i figured i might aswell have a little fun with it, so i paired neon green hi's with my new fav peep toe booties... cute, right?

on the same day, i noticed another guy on the subway who also wanted to have fun with socks... only the end result wasn't so cute:

i mean... c'mon dude! black loafers with thick white gym socks? (and your jeans are too short, if you wanna get into it.)
